Slumdog Millionaire
A fairytale dramatic movie set in modern day about a boy’s rise to the top through a game show.
Yeah, the plot was really cool. The police interrogate the boy to find out how he is cheating but it just happens that his “slumdog” life has prepared him for every question in some unreal ways. The movie is very authentic in it’s portrayal of the slums of India, which can be really sad. It’s basically a rags to riches movie with a love story.
The movie was good. I just had a hard time believing the love story because of a small, little, insignificant reason….. He looked 12 and she looked like a 22 year old model. I didn’t see the chemistry, but they both had a life changing childhood; that must be the spark that’s keeping the fire going.
Yay. Nice guys don’t always finish last.
Your right, the love story did seem like an after thought and was just used to build a little drama into the unique story of how he won a game show he had no right being in.

Loved it!
