Wedding BurnOUT
You know when you’re so “gun hoe” on a whole thing (like planning a wedding) when it first happens…then…nada after that. That’s where I’m at right now. I haven’t really done any planning in weeks. From the moment that ring was put on my finger; I had so many ideas and I started calling everyone! Now I can’t even stomach another episode of “Say Yes To the Dress” or “My fair WEDDING” or “BRIDEZILLAS” blah.. My DVR is getting filled with those episodes that I just had to have recorded, now there they sit; 5 new shows each. :oP I guess I’m just focused more on the holidays now.
Thanksgiving came and went. It was nice. Ma made a lunch dinner and then Cade’s Aunt made a dinner for supper (wasn’t able to eat again) but did chomp down a turkey sandwich around 9 o’clock that night after the “family” poker game, which was awesome by the way! I took home $50 bucks that night coming in first place for the first time in a year or so. That was a nice surprise. Saturday night we played again and I placed 3rd, I got my money back so it wasn’t terrible :o)
I’m off to Chicago on Thursday with my work crew. The docs bought a new machine so we are heading down there to get trained. Friday and Saturday we have classes and I assume we’ll be coming home late Saturday night. It’ll be a nice little “get-away,” but honestly I’d rather be home enjoying my Christmas decorations and sleeping in. Oh well. December will just be a crazy busy month with everything else going on (Family Christmas parties, work parties, classes, appointments, etc), that when January rolls around, hopefully I’ll get back to wedding planning.
